Danger! Damage to Avenue D Stairs to the
Beach!
Because of a partial collapse of the cliff around the stairs, the
supports for the stairs have been undermined or damaged. Because
of this, use of the stairs being discouraged. Signs installed by
the Board of Directors have regularly been removed by vandals.
The Board is looking into repairs but this is a serious, expensive
repair. So far, no contractor has come up with a solution other
than to remove the stairs and start from scratch. |
